How I love to camp at the beach. I grew up camping and one of our annual trips was always at the beach. The sand, the bikes, how it would get so windy and cold at night. This year I went ahead and got reservations for beach camping (you have to reserve 6 months ahead of time). We shared a site with two other families and had a great time making new memories. We feel that we'll be camping annually with these families for a long time. Here are some beach shots taken by friend Lindsey. The little boy, Jackson belongs to her and this was his first camping trip. It was a success! The kids all had fun, even the big kids(Ben and the men).

Okay, Lord, I get it. I'm a terrible mother! Basically every blog I've visited this past week has photos of families tent camping.
*sigh* next year I promise to go tent camping...'on my honor...I will try....'
