Wrapping up Kinder- Month of May

May was a whirlwind!  Since Natalie was done with school before Memorial Day this year it seemed to fly by really fast and summer was here before we knew it.  The end of Kindergarten was filled with fun activities.  These silly days left a lasting impression on Natalie and cemented her LOVE for school and Mrs. Kuker.  I could not have asked for a better year and with all my concerns and anxiety I do feel like we made the BEST choice sending her off at just barely 5...

Not to brag (this is our family's record) Natalie can read almost anything you put in front of her.  She LOVES reading and choosing books, browsing at the library, taking comprehension quizzes on the computer, and she always reports when her reading group was missed at school.  I've been told she is fine in math...I tune this part out considering I'm terrible and won't be able to help her with her homework past 3rd grade.  She is a history buff and asks really interesting questions about all the places and history she can think of.  I am so proud of her academics....then there is her behavior....

Just like her mom, she has hard time speaking in an inside voice, she is very friendly and enjoys sharing her ideas all the time, even during work time.  She has the ability to stare at her teacher to ensure the warning is legit.  Yes, she dances while walking in line, usually can not be found in her seat - but hey - she is a hard girl not to love and her stories are pretty amazing!

Here are some fun photos of PJ day, Kinder Krazy dress day,  crazy hat day (I sent her in a homemade hat not realizing everyone else actually bought one) even baseball day @ STORM stadium with Mrs. Kuker.

She is counting the days until 1st grade...if I could only freeze time
